Dear Readers,

For weeks we had been looking forward to celebrate Hanami at the Eula Park in my home town Winterthur. The weather was not very good, unfortunately, but still, lots of people joined the Cherry Blossom Festival, among them the Ambassador of Japan to Switzerland, and the city mayor. I also had a minor part in it, by doing a presentation about my walking trip through Japan of three years ago.

For those interested in Japan, with the 14th JAPANIMANGA Night on 24th and 25th May, there is already the next Japan event coming up. For more information, please have a look at http://www.japanimanga-night.ch/jan14/Programm/Workshops.281.html. Again, my walking trip through Japan will be a part of the program. In Winterthur, which is Switzerland’s sixth largest city http://www.winterthur-tourismus.ch/en/visitor, we really have lots of people interested in Japan!

Also, I would like to inform you that we will show the documentary „Negative: Nothing“ on 7th June 2014 at the TAMA CINEMA FORUM. Producer Jan Knüsel even will be present for a „Guest Talk“. For more information please look up the program at http://www.tamaeiga.org/special/nn/.

Dear readers, enjoy spring, I wish you lots of sunny days, and send you my best regards from Switzerland,
Thomas Köhler
